Review authenticity
Last updated 1 September 2026
Reviora exists to remove the effort of writing a review, not the honesty of one. This page sets out exactly how the product behaves, so you can judge it for yourself rather than take our word for it.
The short version
A real customer of your business scans a card, chooses their own star rating, reads a suggested draft, and posts it from their own Google account if they want to. Every part of that sentence matters.
What the product does
- Your customer chooses the rating. Reviora does not pick it, and the draft genuinely changes with it. A three-star draft reads like balanced feedback, not a disguised endorsement.
- Your customer posts it. Reviora copies the draft to their clipboard and opens your Google review page. From that point they are on Google's service, signed into their own account. We never post on anyone's behalf, and we never see what they finally submit.
- The draft is a starting point. It can be edited, rewritten or discarded. Many people change it, which is the intended outcome.
- Every draft is unique. Each one is compared against previous drafts for the same business and regenerated if the wording overlaps too closely, so a business does not accumulate near-identical reviews.
What the product refuses to do
- No review gating. Every customer reaches the same page regardless of how they feel. Reviora does not screen for sentiment, does not route unhappy customers to a private form, and does not suppress anything.
- No incentives. There is no mechanism to offer a discount, a reward or a prize in exchange for a review, and our Terms of Service prohibit customers from doing so off-platform.
- No fake identities and no bulk posting. Reviora has no ability to create accounts or submit reviews. It produces text and opens a link.
- No guarantees. We do not promise a number of reviews, a star rating, or a search ranking. Anyone promising those things cannot deliver them.
Rules you agree to as a Reviora customer
These are conditions of using the service, not suggestions. Breaching them puts your Google listing at risk, not just your Reviora account, and we may suspend an account we believe is in breach.
- Only ask people who have genuinely used your business
- Never offer anything of value in exchange for a review
- Never post reviews yourself, or ask staff or associates to
- Never discourage or filter customers who intend to leave criticism
- Never review a competitor, and never misrepresent who you are
On AI-assisted wording
The draft is machine-written. The experience, the rating and the decision to post are the customer's. We think that distinction is the important one, and we would rather state it plainly than leave it unsaid.
A customer who did not visit your business should not be posting a review, with or without Reviora. A customer who did visit, and who wants to say something positive but cannot find the words, or does not write comfortably in the language your listing is in, is exactly who this is for. Reviora supports a multi-language review experience so that language is not the reason a genuine review goes unwritten.
Google's policies
Reviora is an independent product. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Google, and we do not control how Google moderates reviews. Google may filter or remove any review at its discretion, and may change its policies at any time.
We design the product to keep the customer as the genuine author of their own opinion. Responsibility for how you use it, and for complying with the review policies of any platform, sits with your business.
Tell us if we get it wrong
If you believe a review generated through Reviora is inauthentic, or that a business is using the service in a way that breaks the rules above, contact us and we will investigate.
